~ZBA Decision on Lot 1

The Duxbury Zoning Board of Appeals discussed the two parcels of land on North Street that have been in litigation at a public hearing on April 25, 2019. The entire meeting is available on PACTV for a limited time.

Although the ZBA gave their decision about the one lot building permit and the five building permit case had been dismissed, the discussion is not over regarding building on this parcel of land.

From PACTV Video of the April 28, 2019 Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting:(1:25:36-1:26:10)

Wayne Dennison (ZBA Chairperson): “Why don’t you just take the loss and now go forward and apply for a new building permit on Lot 1?”

Paul Driscoll (John Baldwin's Lawyer): “Again in the interest of full disclosure, John Baldwin, because of the tortured history of this, and the time that has gone by and the money that’s been spent, has decided that he’s going to seek permission to build a 40B project.”
