~Town Meeting - Article 15 - Multiple Dwellings on One LOT

Article 15 PASSED at Town Meeting on March 13, 2017 by a margin of 151 to 8. The Duxbury Zoning Bylaws will be amended to make clear that one lot = one dwelling.

Article 17 was PASSED to fund an needed update to the Duxbury Zoning Bylaws by a professional planning service.

Article 39 requested revisions to Section 570 - Duxbury Affordable Housing bylaws. During the discussion at Town Meeting, it was revealed that 166 lots could have been impacted by this change (specific properties were not disclosed). Also, a resident at Town Meeting made note of specific, important information that was removed from the bylaw that helped to safeguard development. This article did NOT PASS.
