~Public Notice Posted - Amend Bylaw for Multiple Houses on One Lot

The Town Clerk posted a public notice that the Planning Board would have a public hearing on December 14, 2016 relative to a proposed zoning article to appear before the Annual Town Meeting on Saturday, March 11, 2017. The article submitted by the Board of Selectmen and Town Manager, Rene Read, is to amend the Duxbury Zoning Bylaws Article 400 with "... no more than one single family dwelling or dwelling unit is permitted by right on any lot in any district."

Building permits granted BEFORE this public notice was posted such as the 0 North Street building permits that were issued on November 3, 2016 would not be impacted by this amendment.
